  4.     INJURED. Ed Koch, 66, former mayor of New York City, by a
  5. stone thrown at him as he strolled with Mayor Teddy Kollek
  6. through Jerusalem's walled Old City. Koch, who later went to a
  7. hospital and had nine stitches to close his head wound, insisted
  8. on finishing his walking tour, saying, "I wasn't going to let
  9. these bastards, these thugs, have their way." The ex-mayor was
  10. on a trip to Israel to boost tourism, which has declined because
  11. of the gulf crisis and increasing Arab-Israeli violence.
